Agency-level monetization is built in: buy a bulk plan for an office, and all of its sub-agents draw from the shared pool, a workflow you won't find in a solo-agent or generic theme.

Agents and agencies log in to a separate front-end dashboard (not the WordPress admin), where they manage their own contacts, deals, tasks, stats, pipeline, and automations. Each agent sees only their own records. Each agency sees its team's records. You see everything.
Broker-of-record oversight runs through the WordPress admin role; agents are confined to the front-end dashboard, which is the standard compliance pattern. When a visitor submits a contact form on a listing page, the inquiry goes to the email of the agent assigned to that property. If no agent is assigned, it falls back to the default admin email you set in Theme Options. You can also define a global CC address (office manager, broker inbox) so every lead gets a supervisory copy.
As we describe it in our docs: "When you assign an agent to a property, the theme uses that link to route listing inquiries to the agent's email." Speed matters: studies of lead response time, including the widely cited MIT / InsideSales lead-response study, consistently show that responding within 5 minutes vastly outperforms waiting 30 minutes or longer. Routing straight to the listing agent supports that window.
Honest disclosure: round-robin, geographic routing by ZIP or city, availability-based routing, and price-band routing are NOT built-in features out of the box. For those workflows, you use the built-in CRM's automation rules or a tool such as Zapier. Configure CC and BCC addresses in the lead generation form settings.
Every message from your contact, schedule-a-tour, and estimate forms is saved automatically. The sender becomes a contact, the inquiry becomes a lead, and any budget, location, or bedroom preferences are saved with them. For brokers, the CRM ships with ready-made automation rules: assign new leads to an agent, follow up on stale inquiries, remind an agent about a tour, move a deal forward when a contract is signed. Drag deals from "New" to "Won" on the visual pipeline. Match a buyer's saved preferences against your live listings with one click. Every system email your site sends is editable from the WordPress admin: registration confirmation, password reset, property submission notification, lead inquiry notifications, membership purchase confirmation. Subject lines, body text, and sending address are all configurable, so every email matches your brokerage's voice.
Save Search alerts are baked in. Visitors save a search with one click; WPResidence watches for new matching listings and sends alerts on a schedule you control (immediately, daily, or weekly). Native MLS integration is through MLSImport. Other IDX vendors (iHomeFinder Optima Express, dsIDXpress) work but with reduced filter/search integration, as their listings live in a separate system that our theme search can't filter. IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, Realtyna, Spark API, Bridge Interactive, and Flexmls don't have documented native integrations.
Why this matters: RESO Web API is the modern standard replacing RETS, and most affiliated MLSs have completed or are completing RESO Web API certification. MLSImport uses RESO Web API natively. Per NAR's 2024 buyer survey, 76% of buyers used a mobile device at some point in their search, and native MLS listings stay fully responsive, not locked inside an iframe.
You can rebrand the WordPress admin to feel like your brokerage from the moment a client logs in. Theme Name, Author name, Author URL, Theme Description, Screenshot (the admin thumbnail), and the branding logo in the admin are all customizable. The entire admin appearance becomes your brand.
