Built for US broker-owners who manage agent teams and need an MLS-connected website, not a solo-agent page.

Do you run a brokerage and need a website that fits the way you work? Most options are built for solo realtors or generic agencies. We designed WPResidence for the multi-agent brokerage, with a broker dashboard, agent rosters, paid submission tiers, and native MLS import in one install. WPResidence is the real estate WordPress theme purpose-built for multi-agent US brokerages, on the market since 2013.

A real estate broker WordPress theme is a WordPress theme engineered for licensed brokers and multi-agent brokerages. It combines property listings, agent management, lead routing, MLS integration, and a broker dashboard in one installation. Solo-agent themes handle one agent's listings; broker themes manage multiple agents, offices, membership packages, and lead distribution across the whole firm.

Per the NAR 2024 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 88% of US buyers worked with a real estate agent or broker. Brokers need a web presence that reflects the full team, not just one face. For a deeper breakdown of what separates broker sites from agent sites, see realtor websites anatomy.

Why WPResidence

Why US Brokers Choose WPResidence

27 CRM automation rules

Multi-Agent Roster Control. You add, approve, and manage every agent from one dashboard. Agents get individual profile pages with bios, ratings, service areas, and linked listings. You control who can register and whether approval is required before they go live, which matters for broker-of-record oversight.

MLS Data, Native (Not Iframed). WPResidence connects to RESO-compliant MLS boards across the US and Canada through MLSImport. Listings import as native WordPress posts, fully indexed by Google, searchable through the theme's filters, and styled by your theme. No iframe overlay quietly killing your SEO.

Broker-Controlled Lead Routing. Every inquiry goes to the agent assigned on the listing, with a global CC to the broker's inbox. The built-in CRM adds 27 ready-made automation rules for assignment workflows, follow-up sequences, and deal-stage triggers inside WordPress.

Multiple Offices

Multi-Office Management

1 admin sees all offices
Multi-Office Management
Offices
Each office is an Agency account
Separate roster and listing pool
Own profile page per branch
Broker sees every office

Do you run more than one office? Each office operates as a separate Agency-role account, with its own profile page, agent roster, listing pool, and front-end dashboard. You, the broker (site admin), see all offices, all agents, all listings from one WordPress admin view.

Per our own documentation: "Agencies and developers can create sub agents and manage many listings from a private front end dashboard." You run multiple branch locations as separate agency accounts, each with its own profile page, agent roster, and listing pool.

Sub-office branding lives in the Agency role rather than a dedicated "Office Dallas" feature. To see the full team-management toolkit in action, explore the agencies and developer pages feature set.

Agent Management

Agent Recruitment and Multi-Agent Management

4 agent card styles

As a broker of record, you can only supervise licensed agents. So we built a manual-approval toggle: no agent registration goes live without your review. This maps directly to your state-licensing compliance obligation.

Agent profile pages support up to 4 card display styles. Each card shows bio, contact info, service areas, specialties, and linked listings, plus star ratings and visitor reviews. Your agent list page doubles as a recruiting page: prospective agents see exactly what your brokerage offers in tools and visibility.

For the complete card layout options and agent profile customization, see our agent pages feature documentation.

Broker Dashboard

Broker Dashboard

100% broker visibility

As the site owner, you see all messages from every contact form, all agents, all leads, all listings, right inside the WordPress admin panel. You can add or edit leads and contacts, set lead statuses, and stay organized without leaving WordPress.

Agents and agencies log in to a separate front-end dashboard (not the WordPress admin), where they manage their own contacts, deals, tasks, stats, pipeline, and automations. Each agent sees only their own records. Each agency sees its team's records. You see everything.

Broker-of-record oversight runs through the WordPress admin role; agents are confined to the front-end dashboard, which is the standard compliance pattern. Per the NAR 2024 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 43% of US buyers started their home search online, so your digital presence is the front door. See the full user roles and management documentation for role permissions.

Lead Routing

Lead Distribution Rules

5 min response window that wins
Lead Distribution Rules
Leads
Inquiries route to listing agent
Fallback to default admin email
Global CC for broker oversight
Advanced routing via CRM rules

When a visitor submits a contact form on a listing page, the inquiry goes to the email of the agent assigned to that property. If no agent is assigned, it falls back to the default admin email you set in Theme Options. You can also define a global CC address (office manager, broker inbox) so every lead gets a supervisory copy.

As we describe it in our docs: "When you assign an agent to a property, the theme uses that link to route listing inquiries to the agent's email." Speed matters: studies of lead response time, including the widely cited MIT / InsideSales lead-response study, consistently show that responding within 5 minutes vastly outperforms waiting 30 minutes or longer. Routing straight to the listing agent supports that window.

Honest disclosure: round-robin, geographic routing by ZIP or city, availability-based routing, and price-band routing are NOT built-in features out of the box. For those workflows, you use the built-in CRM's automation rules or a tool such as Zapier. Configure CC and BCC addresses in the lead generation form settings.

Built-in CRM

Messages saved as leads automatically

Ready-made lead automation rules
Bidirectional HubSpot integration

Every message from your contact, schedule-a-tour, and estimate forms is saved automatically. The sender becomes a contact, the inquiry becomes a lead, and any budget, location, or bedroom preferences are saved with them. WpEstate CRM (our own plugin, not a third-party add-on) turns your WPResidence site into a full customer system.

For brokers, the CRM ships with ready-made automation rules: assign new leads to an agent, follow up on stale inquiries, remind an agent about a tour, move a deal forward when a contract is signed. Drag deals from "New" to "Won" on the visual pipeline. Match a buyer's saved preferences against your live listings with one click. If your brokerage runs on HubSpot, the bidirectional integration keeps contacts, deals, and tickets flowing both ways. Explore the full WPResidence CRM feature documentation.

Email System

Email Management

3 alert schedules

Every system email your site sends is editable from the WordPress admin: registration confirmation, password reset, property submission notification, lead inquiry notifications, membership purchase confirmation. Subject lines, body text, and sending address are all configurable, so every email matches your brokerage's voice.

Save Search alerts are baked in. Visitors save a search with one click; WPResidence watches for new matching listings and sends alerts on a schedule you control (immediately, daily, or weekly). No separate plugin needed. Every lead notification can also CC your broker inbox. Customize every outbound message in the email management settings panel.

MLS & IDX

MLS-Ready: US IDX Integrations

RESO Web API, US and Canada
Native posts, fully Google-indexed
Hourly sync, filterable search
30-day trial, then $49/month

The path we recommend is MLSImport. It connects to RESO-compliant MLS boards across the US and Canada (cited at 800+ in our documentation; check the live list at mlsimport.com). Listings import as native WordPress posts (not iframes), so they're fully indexed by Google, filterable through our search interface, and styled by your theme. Hourly sync. 30-day free trial, then $49/month.

Native MLS integration is through MLSImport. Other IDX vendors (iHomeFinder Optima Express, dsIDXpress) work but with reduced filter/search integration, as their listings live in a separate system that our theme search can't filter. IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, Realtyna, Spark API, Bridge Interactive, and Flexmls don't have documented native integrations.

Why this matters: RESO Web API is the modern standard replacing RETS, and most affiliated MLSs have completed or are completing RESO Web API certification. MLSImport uses RESO Web API natively. Per NAR's 2024 buyer survey, 76% of buyers used a mobile device at some point in their search, and native MLS listings stay fully responsive, not locked inside an iframe.

White Label

White-Label Brokerage Branding

$0 white-label add-on cost

You can rebrand the WordPress admin to feel like your brokerage from the moment a client logs in. Theme Name, Author name, Author URL, Theme Description, Screenshot (the admin thumbnail), and the branding logo in the admin are all customizable. The entire admin appearance becomes your brand.

To lock things down after delivery, add a single line to the WordPress configuration file that hides the white-label panel and the Themes section from the Customizer. Useful when handing a configured site to a franchisee. White-label is included in the standard $79 license at no extra cost. See the full white label documentation for the complete list of rebrandable elements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is WPResidence designed for solo agents or brokerages?

WPResidence is built for multi-agent brokerages and broker-owners, not solo agents. It supports four user roles (agent, agency, developer, regular user) with a broker-level admin that sees all agents, leads, and listings. Solo agents building a personal site will find better-fit options in our solo-agent template guide.

How does WPResidence compare to a wordpress theme for real estate agencies?

A brokerage and an agency share many website needs, but a licensed brokerage requires agent-approval workflows, broker-of-record oversight of every lead, and MLS board membership for IDX access. WPResidence's Agency role covers both. If you're running a non-licensed agency, see our wordpress theme for real estate agencies page.

Can agents pay to list properties on my brokerage site?

Yes. WPResidence's membership system lets you create paid plans (pay-per-listing or recurring) by user role. Agents buy a plan, submit listings, and you approve before anything goes live. PayPal and Stripe handle recurring payments. You can also set up an agency-level plan so all of an office's agents draw from one shared listing quota.

What is the total cost for a WPResidence brokerage site?

The WPResidence theme is $79 one-time on ThemeForest, with no annual renewal for the theme itself. If you need live MLS data, add MLSImport at $49/month after a 30-day free trial. Hosting, domain, and any premium Elementor widgets are separate. White-label is included at no extra cost.
